This necklace is a one-of-a-kind design from our Kumihimo Silk line which combines vintage pearls and handwoven silk from Japan. It features hand braided 100% natural sea blue silk and a vintage saltwater cultured akoya pearl at the center.

The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This necklace features an 8-strand weave pattern called "Edo-uchi-himo". The silk measures 2mm.

It is set in solid contemporary sterling silver and is paired with a vintage 7.50mm Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl. It has good luster, rosy pink overtones and a light amount of blemishes. 

Total length is 18 inches. Clasp and ends are stamped "925" for solid sterling silver. Different lengths, colors and pearls are available. to inquire about a custom order.
